Wakie Hakim Hinton was born to the late Kalimah Peggy Ann Hinton and Musa Auburn Jackson at St. Michael’s Hospital in Newark, New Jersey on August 5, 1969. Hakim Attended McKinley Elementary School and later attended Westside High School in Newark. He furthered his education by attending Truck Driving School where he received his Class “A” CDL. Hakim pursued his dreams and became a successful Truck Driver for over 20 years. Hakim was a very caring, loving, and strong individual that always spoke his mind. If you wanted the truth, Ask Hakim. Hakim always liked to laugh and joke around with his family and close friends which he was passionate about. Hakim was a leader and a very determined person, once he had set his mind to accomplish a goal ultimately, that goal was accomplished.
