Mary Frances (McDaniel -Turner) Murray was born to the late W.C .and Katherine Coleman McDaniel on March 4, 1949, in Donalsonville, Georgia. Following a lengthy period of illness, Mary departed this life in the early morning hour of August 22, 2021, at Wake Medical Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband’s Cleveland Murray and George Turner; parents, W.C., and Katherine McDaniel; son Kasim Samad Turner: sisters: Barbara Hopper and Joyce McDaniel; brothers, Donald, Quinton, Gregory, and Maurice McDaniel.

Mary leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Sharonda Turner, four sons: Wayne Turner, Adbullah Jihad, Marius and Salik Turner, sisters: Maerene Harrington, and Debra McDaniel, brothers: William, Omar, Darryl, and Cornelius; Lemar, Albert (Ronell), and Kyle, Four aunts, one uncle, 22 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
