On Saturday, July 21, 2018 Halim R. Abdul-Quddus, returned to Allah at the age of 65 years. He was the son of John Allen Moore
and Eula Mae Moore. A native of Newark, Halim attended the Lincoln Tech and Essex County College. Halim was an entrepreneur, consultant and
business leader. In 2005, he founded MGQ Investments. Halim served on the boards of numerous organizations. Founder of the Muslim American
Chamber of Commerce. He is survived by his six children Katone and Marie Glover, Imani Quddus, Halim Ibn Quddus, Khadijah Quddus, Sabur Quddus and
Abdul Quddus and three stepchildren Annette, Shirin and Rabiyyah. Brothers and Sisters: Willie J. Moore (deceased), Bishop and Datina
Moore, Pearl Jackson (deceased), Jonnie and Sam Bouler, Allen and Carol Moore, Iman Fa’iz-Mohammed and Dawud Muhammad. Loving Partner Yasmeen Muhammad and a special brother Yahya
Salaam.
Halim was a kind and loving man and will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and extended family and friends.
Janazah prayer for Halim will be held on Tuesday, July 24, at 1:00p.m. at the Nia Masjid, 231 Roseville Ave, Newark, NJ 07107, with
Imam Shamsuddin. Interment will be at Hollywood Memorial Park
