Eric Haniff Staton

Eric Staton (Haniff) was born 11-15-1970 in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late Carol Staton and Melvin Cannon. Eric was a longtime resident of Garfield Avenue. Eric loved to travel across New Jersey spending time with family and close friends. Eric was a fan of the New England Patriots, He was an outgoing, loving, carefree, funny spirit. He loved his family with a passion and will go hard for them. Eric loved to dress and keep his gear fly. Eric will be deeply missed, and we pray that he is at peace and will be connecting with his mom and close family in his departure.

 Departed family Mother Carol Staton, Robert Staton SR and JR, Ronald Staton, and Tyrone Parson.

He Survived by Brother Derrick Staton, half-brothers, and sisters, Aunt Katherine Parson, First cousin Lashawn Parson, Father Melvin Cannon. Nephews, Kyree White, and Zuri Staton. Close Cousins Corey, Kendall, Labre, Brandon, Lasydrea. Special Friend Yonnie Williams and a host of great-nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
