David Harris was born on May 9, 1971, in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Joanne M. Harris and Michael Smith. On Tuesday, September 8, 2020 David returned to Allah.
David married the love of his life, Quadeehah Wilder on October 15, 2017, whom he affectionately referred to as "Babydoll".
David was educated in the Irvington Public School system. David later went on to attend Essex County college where he studied Business Management. David also attended Empire Beauty School and became a licensed barber which led to him owning his own barber shop for several years. His passion for cutting hair was continuously displayed during his free time in which he cut the hair of family and friends.
At the time of his transition, David worked as an Amtrak Signal Maintainer for over 20 years where he developed life long frienships/brotherhoods.
David leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Quadeehah Wilder, (2)daughters Sydney and Maiya Harris, (1) stepdaughter Zaniyah Wilder, (3)children that he cared for, loved and raised as his own, Nicole Bonaparte, Drayton Bonaparte and DeAndre Harris, his dad Michael Smith(5) siblings Sacarnal Harris, Rhonda Alston (Raheem), Joseph Harris (Shakira), Alteriq Harris and Chery Harris (4) aunts Amina Muhammad, Valerie Paul, Gail Lester and Nancy Harris (1)uncle Laverne Smith (Sabrina). His cousin Samuel Goodman who was also like a brother. A few special friends whom David considered bonus brothers and a sister, Anthony McCrary, Malachi Ghabar and Markicia Dupree. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
