Yahya Duwad Irshad

Yahya Duwad Irshad also known as John Davis Jr. was born on December 18, 1948, in Plainfield, NJ to Bernice Jones and the late John Davis Sr. Yahya passed away on February 28, 2018, with his mother by his side. Yahya was educated in the Plainfield school system and primarily worked in sales and transportation throughout his life. He was someone who dressed to please and kept up with the latest trends.  Yahya was a devoted son and strived to please his mother as much as he could. He was also a loyal friend and always tried to be a man of his word.  Yahya was fiercely dedicated to his Islamic faith and well received whenever he would accept speaking engagements.  Yahya is predeceased by his father, John Davis Sr., brother, JeffreyDavis, step-father, Frizzell Jones Jr. and step-brother, Frizzell Jones III. He leaves to cherish his only son, Yahya Irshad Jr., loving mother, Bernice Jones, step-sister, Brenda Jones, step-brother, Brian Jones, step-brother, Steven Rose, nieces, and a host of other family and friends.
