Walter Dixon Jr.

Walter Dixon Jr. (Sonny Boy) made his departure on November 19,2017.  Walter was surround by his loving wife Belinda and close family and friend when he made his transition. Walter was born on July 3, 1950 to the late Tillie Mae Scott and th late Walter Dixon Sr. in Laurinburg, NC.

Walter was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church, East Orange and Second Baptist in Newark where he accepted the Lord as his savior.

Walter leaves to cherish his memory to his loving wife Belinda whom he adored.  His daughters Tawana, Tmeka Bateman and Jasmine Hopkins.  His son Jabrial Tyrell.  Grandchildre Zhaire, Zion, Zaniyah Bateman, Jaylan Tyrell, Michael Bateman, Gerrard Gainer and Tyrone Brown.  Sisterin Law Regina Hopkins, Brother in Law Keith Hopkins.

Predeceased by his son Walter Bateman and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
