Skylar Johnson

Skylar Johnson was born on December 12, 1985, to Peter Johnson and the late Valois Johnson. Born prematurely, Skylar entered the world with a remarkable strength and a spirit of survival that continued to define his life. Skylar was deeply devoted to his family and friends and was especially close to his big brother, Dr. Kyle Younger, affectionately known as “Bub.” His warmth, humor, and generous heart touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Skylar leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory always: his father, Peter (Geraldine) Johnson; Aunts Arabella (Wayne) Younger-Williams; Uncles Robert Younger, his sisters, Bree Johnson and Ayana Younger; and his brothers, Dr. Kyle Younger and Latif Younger; and Niece Tyfani Younger-Sims and Nephews Elijah Younger-Johnson, Al-Muqaddim Johnson-Brown, Landon Chase Younger. His life and legacy will forever remain an inspiration to those who loved him most.
