Sakinah Kedar

Sakinah Kedar lived a full life. A loving mother, a daughter to remember and a person you’d be lucky to call a friend. She loved to cook & raised an intelligent wonderful son whom she loved with every fiber of her being. She will be remembered as one who put others before herself & known for her resilient ability to overcome any obstacle life threw at her.

Her heart was as big as the universe and her warmth could melt any icy demeanor. She cherished the little things and protected the ones in most dire need. Her career working for the state had her care for those suffering most in life whether it be from abuse, mental health care or anything in between. We would all be better if we took just a bit of her character and added it to ourselves.

Her aura was undeniable, a hug would turn your day into a great one. A meal from her would warm your heart and a conversation with her would have you smile from ear to ear. She will be  remembered by her son Zubayr, her mother, and father and all of her siblings.
