Robin Crudup was born to Gwendolyn Crudup and Christopher E. Crudup (deceased), on March 20, 1958. She made her transition on February 13, 2023 when the Most Gracious, Most Merciful Allah welcomed His servant.
Robin converted to Islam early in life and was affectionately called Karima Yasmin. Robin was known to her family and friends as a very given, smart, and generous person. She was deeply loved by her mother and siblings, admired by her children and grandchild, adored by her nieces and nephews and highly valued as a niece, cousin, friend, and coworker.
Robin’s bright smile and infectious laugh lives on with all whom she loved.
Robin was employed by Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Metuchen for the past 14 yrs. She was educated with a diploma from Battin High School of Elizabeth, NJ. And later earned a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Southern New Hampshire University.
Robin was the oldest of (4) children in which she was born in Elizabeth, NJ. She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memories, her mother Gwendolyn Crudup, and siblings Karen Thorpe (Toney), Kelley Newby (Louis), and Christopher E. Crudup, Jr. (Terry).
Robin is survived by her beautiful daughter Danielle Crudup Kelley, son Waheed Washington, son-in-law Chris Kelley, grandson Ason Butler, 6 nieces, 1 nephew, 1 great niece, and 2 great nephews.
