Richard Washington

Richard, affectionately known as Ricky by his family and "Pickle or "Kimble" his childhood friends was born in Washington, D.C. He moved to New Jersey at an early age.

Rick loved basketball and boxing and boxed in the Golden Gloves when he was younger. He served in the U.S. Army and the U.S.  Navy and enjoyed telling stories about his travels and life adventures. Everyone who knew him loved his sense of humor and kind nature.

He will be missed. He is preceded in death by his parents Richard Washington, Sr and Moneta Hampton and his sister Patricia Hampton. He leaves to mourn his death longtime companion  Carol Carter, children Michael Carter on N.J.,Maya Washington, Jonathan Washington, Tiffany Lee and Brandon Lee of Virginia,6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, Sisters Fathiyyah Shakoor( Furqan) of N. J. and Veronica Grayer (Isaiah) of Florida, and a host of other relatives.
