Michael Munir Brown

Michael Brown. A true Muslim.  A wonderful Father and Grandfather.  The best friend anyone could have.  Most of us called him by his Muslim attribute Munir.  All of us knew him as humble, kind, cool and very humorous.

Munir knew he could make anyone smile and laugh with his clever way of saying things.  He enjoyed the movie theatre.  Loved all types of art.  He made reading anything related to Islam a beautiful story for all ages to understand, embrace and inquire.

Munir’s hobbies ranged from adult coloring, selling natural and organic health products, exercising and continuing education.  Munir was in the process of obtaining a CDL prior to Allah calling him home . An intelligent, sharp dresser, funny, handsome gentleman.  He will be truly and deeply missed.

Munir leaves behind his only child Angelina Brown and 3 grand children; Shawnae Angelina Brown, Jevon Jarrod Pingley and Azina Sheresa Brown;  1 brother James Brown;  3 nieces: Lekisha Muhammad (husband John Muhammad);  3 great nieces, Najah Muhammad, Zaynah Muhammad (husband Osmond Muhammad) Amina and great-great niece Qiyyamah Muhammad;  1 great nephew Basir Muhammad; Michelle Crocker, Nina Crocker, Steven Bell whom he called his son and 1 nephew Corey Brown.

Munir was predeceased by his mother Angelina Brown, father Thomas Winston Brown;  5 siblings: Angela Denise Freeman, Virginia Alston, Mac, Willie Edward Crocker and Barry Brown.
