OBITUARY

Jenssy Rodriguez, affectionately known as J Hov, was born to Maria Cristina Rodriguez and Pedro Lopez on November 18, 1978, in Newark, NJ.

Jenssy was the youngest of 4 children. He was a loving son, an overprotective brother, a generous cousin, and the coolest uncle ever. Overall, he was an amazing person with a beautiful soul. He touched so many through his generosity and big heart. Jenssy was family oriented and had a love for the latest fashions. And we all know his favorite saying, "You be bugging!!"

Jenssy was educated in the Newark Public school system. He had a natural talent for art and won first place in the Sharp James art program. Throughout his life, he worked various jobs throughout New Jersey and Philadelphia.

On February 6, 2021, Jenssy was called to Jannah by the Most Gracious, Most Merciful, Allah. Jenssy leaves behind his loving Mother and Stepfather, Maria Cristina Rodriguez and Hector Ramos. his father, Pedro Lopez, his sisters: Eileen Rodriguez and Sandra Candelario, his brothers: Manuel Rodriguez, (Sister in law, Shakirah Rodriguez), Joel Lopez, Niece: Ashley Rodriguez, (Great nieces, Kylie and Hailey Nunez), Chanel Rodriguez, Maani Rodriguez, Dhianna Perry, Zariyah Rodriguez. Nephews: Dion'dre Johnson, Shakir Rodriguez Two special friends: Haneefa Shabazz Rogers and Jazmen Green.

He also leaves behind a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Augusto Rodriguez and Cecilia Arenas, Uncle-Hector Rodriguez.
