Fareed Shauib Amin

Fareed Shauib Amin, son of Brother Hassan Amin aka Earl Scott and Sister   Shana Abdullah was called back to Allah on December 28, 2018. Fareed was born on August 21, 1996 into an extremely loving and Islamic Family Unit.

Surrounded by his family all of his days ultimately lead him to work and run the family business “All Body Shop, Inside and Out” while attending Barringer High School.  After graduation he continued working the family business and attended Essex County College in Newark, NJ.  He also received a full scholarship to Rutgers University.  Fareed participated in sports, running track for the East Orange Striders, played baseball and participated in local fashion shows as he had a passion for fashion and was always immaculately dressed.  It would be the wood shop class he took in High School which became the catalyst for his creativity.  Fareed loved to express himself by writing poetry and had an eloquent style of writing.  Many customers would arrive to the family business requesting uniquely blended bath, body and household products made by Fareed.

Fareed was known to be passionate about conveying loving support to his family. He was the “Apple to Everyone’s Eye” as well as family members most felt comfortable talking to because he was so humble, gave good advice and was an excellent listener. Customers always made sure to comment and compliment on his good nature.

My love for life is appreciated, valued and respected and I love all those who touched me and allowed me to touch them.  Love your Creator, family and treat those who may be different as your brother and sister and to be free and love yourself.  I Love You All - Fareed Amin

Fareed will always be loved and immensely missed by his large family.

Fareed leaves to cherish his memory, his parents Hassan Amin and Shana Abdullah, his sisters Lashelle and Ibadah, brothers Naeem, Mujahid, Rafeeq and Munajj.  His nephews Ahmad, Cairo, Kyon, Malik.  Cousins Attiyah (more like his sister), Raqieb, Samiyah, Samirah, Hassaina, Jihad, Amaadi, Jayla, Kindra, Phylicia, Patricia, Amir, Rajohn, Sonja, Ruqaiyah, Khabirah, Amaan, Idris, Inara, Lateef. Aunts Qiyamah, Keyla, Mildred, Lee, Earlene Gibson, Devonian. Uncles Insan, Eziekel (Zeke), close friends Kyle Abrocombie, Oje (Cutty) Austin, Nur Amin and a large host of extended cousins, family and friends.

Fareed is predeceased by his paternal grand parents Earl Gibson and Mildred Phipps and his dear Aunt Iklas Mutasim.
