Dexter Lloyd

Dexter Lloyd was born March 31, 1968 to James and Mary Lloyd. Dexter was from Newark New Jersey where he received his formal education at Belmont Runyon Elementary school,        Williams H. Brown Academy (Bergen Street) , Miller Street  Academy and    Malcolm X Shabazz High School.

Dexter was an astonishing father, brother, husband, uncle , nephew, friend and son. He was a hard working man he went from owning “Lloyd and Mason’s  towing company” to becoming a Fire inspection at Supreme Security  Systems for 24 years and then  6 years at  AFA Protective Systems, Inc. Dexter enjoyed fishing, watching movie , listening to music, spending time with   family.

Dexter is predeceased by his brothers Reginald Lloyd and Gregory Lloyd, and his children  Raymond Nero and Latoya Lloyd. Dexter leaves behind his parents James and Mary Lloyd, his wife Linda Lloyd, four children : Lateefah Nero , Indera Nero, Rubin Nero and Natoya Lloyd, two brothers : Musa Shabazz and Shafiq Sabir, 11 grandchildren : Quajamir Johnson, Ayannah Nero, Quazir Robinson, Donald Nero, Aasia Quick,        Shadaizah Nero, Brianna Green,     Raymond Nero Jr. , Madison Green, Alexus Quick, and Daleyza Nero. As well as a host of nieces nephews , sister in laws, cousin , aunt and friends.
