Mr. Derrick Wayne Rose

DERRICK WAYNE ROSE of Newark, New Jersey passed away August 11, 2017. He was born to Elizabeth Rose and the late Barry Pendleton on September 6, 1957 in New Brunswick NJ. DERRICK attended Elizabeth public schools and later moved to Rahway NJ where he graduated from Rahway High School. After high school and throughout the next phase of his life Derrick held a variety of jobs. DERRICK was a fun loving guy who was well liked and enjoyed playing chess, eating, laughing and spending quality time with his family. DERRICK was the oldest of 8 and there was nothing he wouldn't do for his mother or family. DERRICK was proceeded in death by his father Barry Pendleton, brother Abraham Rose; sisters Lisa Rose and Towanda V. Pendleton. Surviving are his mother Elizabeth Rose and Step-Father James Gilbert. Brother James (Tony) Rose, Sisters; Tracy Rose, LaSalle Rose (Charlotte), Theresa Scott (Todd), Sue Shane (Kevin), Joyce Rose and Deborah-Green (Clarence), Dorise Hollinshed; Sons Derrick Jr., DeWayne, Tory and Daughters; Derica, La-Tiera, Tranene, Atieya, Yolanda and Tierra. He also has 15 grandchildren along with a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
