Charles "Tariq" Richardson

On Friday, June 18, 2021, The Richardson Family lost a hero. Charles "Tariq" Richardson 56, of Newark, New Jersey-born on March 6, 1964, in Warrenton, North Carolina to Sylvester Richardson & Katie Kearney Richardson. Tariq was a loving son, & after graduating - Warren County High School, Class of 1982 he also became a loving father, husband, Uncle, etc. Tariq spent nearly 3 decades of his life married to Mrs. Shvette Williams-Richardson & during that time frame also welcoming their 7 children into the world together until Mrs. Shvette Williams -Richardson was called home on June 16, 2017. Outside of his full-time job of being a Father Tariq worked with LabCorp Courier Services as well as  served on Irvington, New Jersey Police Force, & retiring self-employed into a family-owned business a trucking company with his son & daughter in law. In 2019, the Newark, NJ native also became a resident of Smyrna, Tennessee where he then began a new start with Ms. Karen McGuire with whom he spent his last years until he was called home. Tariq is survived by 3 Sisters & 3 Brothers Rickey Richardson, David Richardson, Baxter Richardson, Jacqueline Lane, Dorothy Richardson, & Brenda Richardson. 7 Children Ilikah Williams, Ibn Altariq Williams, Daughter in Law Shakirah Williams, Aniyah Richardson, Ahmid Richardson, Sameerah Williams, Tamerrah Williams. 9 Grand Children Deshaun Williams, Ja’Ziyah Robinson, Ziyyad-Amin Coleman, A’Zhara-Malaya Coleman, Ka'Layyah Williams, Kahmyini Williams, Kahmyia Chapman, Kalima Chapman, Quameen Chapman & a host of nieces & nephews. Tariq is preceded in death by his Wife Shvette Williams - Richardson, his Son Akmid Richardson, his Father Sylvester Richardson, his Brother Ronnie Richardson, his Brother-in-Law Reginald Lane & his other Brother In Law Marcus "Ali" Francis.
