Anwar Patterson

Anwar Munir Patterson was born January 30th 1993 in Newark, NJ to Pamela Amatullah Patterson and Raheem Kareem Muhammad. He departed this world on   August 3rd, 2018 at St Barnabas Hospital , with mom and brothers by his bedside.

Anwar was the youngest to a very close-knit family, of two older brothers Yasin Patterson, Ibin Kareem Patterson and a younger brother Eric Robinson. Blended family of Eric Christopher Cooper who took care of him every step of the way and sibling to lil Eric,Ebony,Tyree,Derek,and Essence Cooper.

Anwar attended Kinnelon High School where he graduated and moved across the stage with his classmates in 2014. Anwar lived every day with a laugh and a smile. He knew what was going on in his every day life.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his grandmother Norma Patterson-Hilliard and Sabreen Muhammad, one nephew Kazi Patterson, two nieces Jole Patterson and Heaven Patterson. Three aunts, five uncles and a host of cousins, friends and love ones. Anwar is preceded in death by his grandfathers Charles R Patterson, Emanuel Robinson and The Great Charlie J Hilliard.
