Rahman Alikhan

Rahman Alikhan was born February 3, 1954 in Newark, NJ to Horace Oliver Sr. and the late Joan Wright.  He is predecease by his grandfather Ronald Wright (Pop); brothers, Thomas Wright and Daniel Oliver.

Rahman attended Barringer High School in Newark, NJ where he enjoyed Social Studies and playing football.  Rahman was a helpful and giving individual, the kind of person to give you the shirt off his back.  He was always smiling and you could hear his voice before he even stepped in the room.  He would tell you a story, even if you've already heard it a million times.  Rahman loved his family and would give his last if he had to. 

He leaves to mourn , his long tim compaion for 20 plus years Peggy Barden.  She stayed by his side good days or bad.  Healthy or sick.

He also leaves a son, Ronald Boyd and a daughter Latimah Jones, 5 grand-children; Najla Boyd, Laila Boyd, Ja'kai Robinson, Laila Jones and Aniyah Robinson. 3 sister; Denise Wright, Vera Wright and Deborah Oliver.  4 brother; Harold Wright, Curtis Sander, Derrick Oliver and Horace Oliver Jr.

He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, friends and other family members.
