Fuquan Beyah was born on March 25, 1963 to the late Rosa Delores Everett and Roy Lee Shelton, who later married Carol Vann. Fuquan was born and raised in Newark, NJ. After a long battle with physical challenges, he returned to Allah on Saturday December 15, 2018, Newark, NJ.
Fuquan was a graduate of Central High School in 1981. He went to Job Corp and learned the trade of welding. Shortly after he served a tour In the US Army, where he continued his life long aspirations in boxing. Where he began at Boys Club in Newark and continued with Golden Clubs.
His other talents included writing, music and barbering, where he contributed to the community, by giving free haircuts to children and less fortunate adults, in the community.
He is survived by 6 brothers, Shakir B. Everett (Rhonda), Bilal Bowman, Khalif Thompson, Wali Bilal, Carl Harris, Al Rock Robinson, 12 sisters Zainab Latifah Bilal (Asmar), J. Hadiyah Giles, Carolyn Glover (Qadri), Saidah Simkins, Najlaa’a AbdulWas, Angel Brown (Raheem), Lakeisha Vann-Cale (Darryl), June Vann-Swain (Johnny), Dana Vann-Julius (Gary), Shonda Vann.
Special Loving and caring nieces Qiana Everett (Shaheed Minus) of NC, and Zahrah Bilal-Johnson (Raheem). Thirteen other nieces. Beloved nephews- Ahmad Wallace, Taiwan Hinton, Pharaoh Beyah, and 15 other nephews, 15 great nieces, 12 Great nephews, 4 sisters in law and 4 brothers in law.

Fuquan was predeceased by his parents Rosa Delores Everett and Roy Lee Shelton and his brother in law Michael Harris.
