Henry Joachim Obituary

Henry Joachim, passed away at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey on December 20, 2013 at age 64. Born on October 1, 1949 in Anse d'Hainault, Haiti; he was the son of Mr.Davilma and Mrs. Cornelia Joachim. Henry grew up in Port aux Prince, Haiti and later came to United States in 1978, living amongst friends and family in Brooklyn, New York. While in New York, he was introduced to his future Wife of thirty three years, Marie R. Joachim. He married Marie on May 24, 1980 in Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church and settled in Plainfield, New Jersey to begin their life together. Shortly, they relocated to Piscataway, New Jersey.

Henry Joachim was employed by the Plainfield Board of Education for nineteen years, received his black seal license on November 12, 1996. He served second in command at Woodland Elementary.

Henry Joachim was a loving devoted father; he is survived by his daughter, Natasha Joachim, son Lordson Joachim, and wife Marie Rosemen Joachim, in addition to his two grandchildren Jeremiah and Eli.

Henry shared many laughs with his best friend Angel and his wife. He will be remembered most for vacationing in the Caribbean Islands with his wife, being fond of playing dominos or cards with his friends, watching the news and taking care of his dear family.
